20 Year Reunion Final Painting

This is the final product. Everyone liked it which makes me happy.
We raffled it off.

Colorful Tote

My inspiration for this came from a JoAnn's advertisement. The one in their advertisement was pink and gray - which I still want to do - but I had this yarn and no idea what to do with it so I thought this would be a good project for it.
I made 2 granny squares the size of my choosing and for the strap and bottom I crocheted one long strip the length I desired and sc on that strip until I got the width I liked. I attached it by whip stitching it to the two squares.
It's not lined, althought I do recommend that if you'll be putting small items inside the bag. I am using it to carry my 'in process' crochet projects. I created a sc pocket inside the bag along the side panel to carry small scissors and my crochet needle.

I made these for a friend's daughters.

Yarn Easter Eggs

All you need are large plastic eggs, Elmer's glue and pretty buttons.
Glue the outside of the eggs then wrap the yarn, top it off with a pretty button. Super easy.

20 Year Reunion

My 20 Year High School Reunion is almost here. This is a sketch of a painting I'm going to attempt to do and donate. I've already drawn it out on canvas (the tiger looks much better on the canvas) - I'll post the painting when it's complete.

I seem to always make children look older than they actually are, but overall I think it's alright.

Things I Love

Things I love:
God - my boys (cats) - writing - reading - drawing/painting - animals - doing word puzzles - making things to give away - movies - music, etc.
Every night I try to incorporate the things I love into my life. In doing so it got pretty messy. Art work, craft supplies and books would stack on tables and the couch to be within reach then at night I would have to gather it all up to put away. I decided to make life easier. I set up the computer in a convenient place where I can sit down and immediately start writing and I put all the other items in a basket that I can just pick up and put away at the end of the night. My living room is much cleaner for it and life is a little easier.

Here's another drawing I started awhile back and finished last night. I could have spent a little more time on it, but... Overall I'm pleased with it though.

Golf Club

This is a piece of art I started last year and finished last night. Sadly, I didn't take care of it the way I should have and the paper is wrinkled, but I think the drawing turned out ok.

Blue and Brown

I've decided to do my living room in blues and browns so of course I had to make a new throw to go with it. I love this yarn and the throw turned out very cozy.
